Located on the southern tip of  spectacular Vancouver Island, British Columbia - Whiffin Spit Lodge B&B & Willow Cottage are located one mile past the village of Sooke which is nestled among the dramatic Sooke Hills and overlooked by the Olympic Mountains in Washington State  .... and just a short 40 minute scenic drive south west of Victoria .... yet a whole different world away!

Sooke boasts Canada's southern most harbour and the most moderate climate in Canada.  Spring arrives early and our long summers are typically warm and dry.  Winter here is short and temperatures rarely drop below freezing with almost no snowfall.

We are close to many natural beaches, rainforest, mountain bike and hiking trails, including the spectacular West Coast Trail, the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, French Beach Provincial Park, the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, Sooke Potholes Provincial Park and East Sooke Park.   Within walking distance from the B&B you will find Whiffin Spit Beach, the Government  Wharf and new community project marine boardwalk which leads to a fishing pier and crabbing dock.
